About Church on the Green
Church on the Green is a joint project with Zion Baptist Church. Its mission is "To Walk and watch over the people of London Park, helping them to experience Jesus in a way that will change their lives for the better, to impact generations to come with His hope, and in doing so build up the body of Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit."
Church on the Green is now recognised by Churches Together in Mirfield as part of the ecumenical partnership of two churches and has assisted the project with funding. The project is managed by a pastoral team comprising people from both churches.
Church on the Green now has a marquee which has been used for recent events, including the Valentine's craft event and Pancake Day.
