We are re-opening!
We are delighted to say that both St Andrew's and Trinity have re-opened for worship following the long closure forced by the coronavirus pandemic.
St Andrew's will not be open every week but there is a Harvest Festival Service planned for Sunday, October 11, at 10.30am. Please contact the Rev Al Henry to book a place as the church is limited to a congregation of 30.
Trinity is open for worship this Sunday (September 27) at 10.30am for a service led by Deacon Al Henry and will be open again for a Harvest Festival service on October 4, again led by Deacon Al. There is no requirement to book at Trinity.
Trinity is also open on a Wednesday for quiet reflection and prayer between 10.30 and 11.30am.
On occasions when either of the church is not open, Deacon Al is conducting regular services via Facebook. Search for him under Deacon Al or use this link:

Our website and our churches
Welcome to the website of the two Mirfield Methodist Churches, Trinity and St Andrew's.
Both churches are thriving Christian communities which seek to serve God as part of the North Kirklees and Morley Methodist Circuit.
Trinity is on the town's main street, Huddersfield Road, and has undergone an amazing transformation over the last few years. The church has been modernised to include an attractive circulation area which provides a warm, welcoming area as soon as you enter the church. Downstairs, there are state-of-the art meeting rooms. The church is home to a strong fellowship which has worked together superbly over the last few years to ensure Trinity is a church geared up for the challenges of the 21st century.
St Andrew's, on Old Bank Road, is another welcoming Methodist community at the heart of residential Mirfield.
It is a thriving church with a growing junior section and can offer a warm welcome to people of all ages.
The church worships twice on a Sunday - the morning service brings together the church family and regularly attracts more than 70, while in the evening there is a quieter, more reflective style of worship.
In addition to two Sunday services the church is home to a wealth of other activities, including a Mother and Toddler Group and a support group for dementia sufferers.
We hope this website will give you a glimpse of the vibrant Christian life within our two churches and prompt you to pay us a visit. Across its pages you will see the activities and people who make the churches what they are today.
